Ellen Austin-Li is an award-winning poet and writer living in Cincinnati, Ohio. After dedicating 18 years to the nursing profession, Ellen is now committed to writing poetry and prose. A long-time devotee of the power of words, Ellen's life of service, combined with her colorful life experiences, informs her art. Ellen has been published in Artemis, LA Writers Tribe Review, the Maine Review, Mothers Always Write, Memoir Mixtapes, Pine Mountain Sand & Gravel, The Amethyst Review, and the annual SOS Cincinnati Art poems & drawings book, "For a Better World" (2013-2018), among other places. Ellen is an active participant at Women Writing for a Change in Cincinnati and studies poetry in ongoing regional workshops. She has also attended writing workshops at University of Iowa's Summer Writing Festival.
